I’m working on something big that has incredible potential. This blog by itself is not enough to have an effect on American politics. I originally intended to strongly challenge and expose the left blogsphere’s crazy antics and ideas. They deserve to have their credibility diminished, most of them are awful people. But challenging them is not enough. I want to offer Americans something better, ideas to stabilize our country and enhance traditional, non-progressive American values.

So, I’m putting my web administrator skilz to use in creating something much bigger,  much better, & much more fun.

My Big Idea started with the premise that conservatives & tea partiers have vast amounts of compassion toward the poor and the needy – even knowing that the poor and needy are usally poor and needy because they’ve made bad decisions. I’d even go so far as to say that conservatives & Tea Partiers have far MORE compassion toward the poor and needy than liberal-progressives could ever muster. It is far more compassionate to give away your own wealth than to advocate transferring a rich stranger’s wealth to the poor and needy who then  conveniently become dependent on your advocacy. Well, Duh… but this is totally lost on progressive-liberals.

But, alas, I stand befuddled. Why don’t conservative politicians and Republicans talk about private charity as a competitor to coerced government charity? It seems to me it’s the obvious, perfect foil to inefficient, corrupt, & dependency-inducing government charity.

Charity is important because the people retain affections for democrat-liberal-progressives mostly because they appear to “care” about the poor and needy. They appear to be “helping” the little guy while republican-conservatives appear to be rich folk who care only about themselves (SO not true!).

So, then, WHAT IF conservatives & Tea Partiers became advocates for large-scale private charity that could compete directly with lame, socialist-driven government charities?

Why can’t free-market principles be applied to helping those in need?

That’s the question that started it all. We shall see where it leads.

Politico’s Juxtaposition

Any member of the power-elite reading Jonathan Martin & Ben Smith’s hit piece (posted 4/22/10 5:05 AM EDT) on the exaggerated, inflated, & overestimated importance of the Tea Party Movement would absolutely conclude that they’re 100% correct.

Maybe they’re right. Maybe the Tea Party is just a bunch of whiny white self-serving rich people blowing off steam before the inevitable progressive juggernaut sets in and transforms America into a grotesque perversion of her former self. I guess the power-elite have nothing to worry about; the Tea Party was just an anomaly, a glitch. Now they can go back to making themselves rich & powerful through devious manipulation of the everyday American sucker.

Exaggerated - Definitely Exaggerated.

Depraved Left Uses Carl Paladino Scandal To Smear the Tea Party

3

Filed Under (Slander) by Ben Grivno on 13-04-2010

Meet upstate NY (read: geographically conservative area) Gubernatorial Candidate Carl Paladino. He’s a disgusting racist sexist political opportunist who is attaching himself like a leech to whichever party happens to be popular.

The folks at WNYmedia obtained extremely damning emails sent & forwarded by Paladino. Their report is not for the faint of heart.

So, when you have a smarmy narcissist who claims to be a Tea Party kinda guy and he gets caught doing what smarmy narcissists do, how does the depraved liberal blogsphere respond? A: It gets giddy with glee.

Think Progress:

One of the newest heroes of the Tea Party movement is “outspoken” Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino, a multimillionaire who has railed against “liberal elites.” Earlier this month, he officially declared his Republican candidacy for New York’s gubernatorial race. However, WNYMedia.net reveals that Paladino has “regularly forwarded pornography and racially degrading material to friends on the Internet.”

Charles the Cowardly King of Little Green Footballs:

The Tea Party-endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate for New York, Carl Paladino, has been sending out emails that you will not freaking believe.

WNYmedia.net has an exposé of Paladino’s work, and be aware — it’s not work-safe. It’s actually not even human-safe, and I mean that literally. NY Gubernatorial Candidate Carl Paladino’s Racist and Sexist Email History.

Daily Kos:

NY-Gov: Bestiality, porn and racism from the tea party candidate

Of course there’s something else that [Paladino] brings to the table … his habit of “sending hardcore pornographic and racist emails around town.” They include:

But, even the New York Times – the paper that never misses an opportunity to slander the Tea Party – does NOT mention the Tea Party connection to Paladino.

Gosh, could it be because Paladino is a FORMER DEMOCRAT? NYT:

He is running against Rick Lazio, a former congressman, and Steve Levy, the Suffolk County executive and, like Mr. Paladino, a Democrat who switched to the Republican Party.

So Paladino was a racist sexist narcissistic Democrat before he switched parties out of political opportunism. No wonder the NYT didn’t bite!

Yes, this means that the sleazy lefty blogs really ARE shamelessly attempting to smear the Tea Party, which is really a slightly-right-of-centrist movement that threatens liberal-progressivism to the core.

The obnoxious freedom-hating lefty blogsphere must be exposed for what it is.

Tea Party Snark III: Working-Class Schlubs, Abnormal Teabaggers

Filed Under (News, Outrage) by Ben Grivno on 17-04-2009

A continuing series covering snarky, condescending and inappropriate liberal response to the Tea Party Movement. Snark I | Snark II David Neiwert closes his eyes and flails his arms while running at the Tea Party movement, calling it “populist.” Well, duh, of course it’s populist. Neiwert thinks, however, that right-wing populism “in the process of taking the reins of the leaderless conservative movement,” calling it “sucker populism” as though left-wing populism is somehow less impetuous. I would guess that right-wing populism has approximately the same hold over conservatives as left-wing populism has over Obama’s liberal establishment. If you want to really understand populism go here. Neiwert prattles on until he gets to this juicy part:
It is, in essence, predicated on the psychology of celebrity-worship: convincing working-class schlubs that they too can someday become rich and famous too — because when they do, would they want to be taxed heavily? It’s all about dangling that lottery carrot out there for the poor stiffs who were never any good at math to begin with.
My, my, isn’t that interesting? Neiwert looks down his fancy-pants liberal nose at “working-class schlubs” who have no chance whatsoever to “become rich and famous.” Those “poor stiffs” who aren’t “any good at math to begin with.” How… condescending.  Neiwert inadvertently reveals the crux of modern liberalism: that we poor “schlubs” need the the know-it-all liberals to rescue us from ourselves. ********** Thers at Firedoglake snarks directly at Tea Party protesters saying, “Hey, Tea-Baggers — you’re not the majority; hell, you’re not even normal”  Thers is referring to the “Slient Majority No More,” saying there is NO WAY the Tea Party’s anti tax, anti-spending message could be representative of a majority of Americans:
There are no poll data whatsoever to support the idea that Americans are Fed Up when it comes to taxes.
Uhhh. Yes there is. Great job on the fact checking, there Thers.   The Gallup Poll Thers, the Washington Post and rest of the Liberalati are touting shows that:
48% of Americans saying the amount of federal income taxes they pay is “about right,” with 46% saying “too high”
That’s with a ±3% margin of error, of course. But wait – this survey includes ALL Americans. I wonder, just wonder what the numbers would look like if you asked only those who actually pay income taxes? Hmmmm… Thers goes on to snark at Tea Party protesters some more:
The Grandma-haired Byron York went to one of these small-town tea-bags, like I did, though, as he says, “organizers posted a note on their website asking that everyone “Please DO NOT personally attack the President or any member of Congress by name” — as it was a classic conservative Republican, limited-government, anti-spending talkfest.” Well, when you’re told top-down what the message is, it cleans up real good, I guess. But everywhere else, Glenn Beck won, it was all very wingnutty sloganeering, and well, good luck building a winning electoral coalition on that, Republicans.
So it’s bad to encourage civility and respect when protesting???? I think Thers is upset at being denied the opportunity to snark at protesters who may have otherwise been disrespectful.  So, I guess it’s abnormal a) to be upset at wasteful government spending and over-taxation b) to believe that most people don’t like wasteful government spending and over-taxation c) to protest about it  and d) to be respectful while protesting. Who wudda thunk?

Tea Party Snark II: Cooper At 8, Boorish Definitions, Twitscoop Bullsh*t

Filed Under (News, Outrage) by Ben Grivno on 16-04-2009

A continuing series covering snarky, condescending and inappropriate liberal response to the Tea Party Movement. Snark I | Snark III First Greg Gutfeld at BigHollywood brilliantly takes on Anderson Cooper’s tasteless teabagging shtick:
Now, if you`re too old or too high to get what`s going on, here`s the joke: The liberal-leaning media are goofing on the tea parties by invoking the term teabagging, a phrased used to describe an act of oral sex performed by a man – either on another man, woman, or in Alec Baldwin’s case – a cheeseburger. And so you have Cooper`s joke – it`s just a shame he ripped off the shtick from David Shuster, who apparently has never met a joke he hasn`t beat to death like a hunter on a harp seal. On MSNBC, Shuster repeats testicle-based puns with a fervent relish not unlike an eight-year old boy who just can’t stop sniffing his fingers. And, this, coming from me. I`m mean – I always thought I was the king of obvious jokes, but I relinquish that crown – because the real obvious joke is Shuster.
4/17 Edit: Commenter BB brings up an excellent point. Gutfeld was being just as rude and crass as Cooper when he snarks at Alec Baldwin and he goes to far when he describes the 8 year old “who just can’t stop sniffing his fingers.” In retrospect, it was poorly chosen on my part – though comparing Cooper’s behavior to that of an 8 year old boy is quite apt. ********** The callow behavior continues at DailyKos as Kos-hack Greg Dworkin spits up some unseemly Urban Dictionary definitions:
Teabagger n. A conservative activist who is so ignorant that they protest against tax cuts (that benefit them) by throwing tea into a river. Teabagging: The mornic [sic] act of conservatives/Republicans sending used teabags to lawmakers because they think Obama is a Nazi.
Uhhh. How… unclever. The Chairman of Urban Dictionary’s Bipartisan Committee for the Prevention of Vulgar Behavior could not be reached for comment. Dworkin continues by cluelessly claiming that the Tea Party had no buzz on Twitter because Twitscoop‘s tag cloud didn’t show any tea party related words:
Dworkin's Twitscoop Screenshot

Dworkin's Twitscoop Screenshot

Riiight, because the fact that the #teaparty hashtag stayed at the top of Twitter‘s “Trending Topics” nearly all day means NOTHING! It’s still #3 as of 10:35 AM EST 4/16/2009 – that means nothing too. Perhaps Dworkin should have read Twitscoop’s explanation of their tag cloud:
Through an automated algorithm, twitscoop crawls hundreds of tweets every minute and extracts the words which are mentioned more often than usual. The result is displayed in a Tag Cloud, using the following rule: the hotter, the bigger(no joke here).
Someone please tell Dworkin that words are not necessarily hashtags. Gee – ya think Twitscoop might be filtering out the hashtags??? Could it be that Twitscoop isn’t the best indicator of overall buzz? “Bullshit” is also listed as a trend in Dworkin’s TwitScoop screenshot – how appropriate.

Tea Party Snark I: Zero Thought, Anti Tax Porn, and Unicorn Nuts

The Left Blogsphere  joined hands today to commit mass abuse of conservative Tea Party protesters. The left’s putrid hate rained down upon the Internet like sewage dumped from 1000 Hollywood-owned airplanes. Unable to contain the sludge within their minds, the left uniformly referred to the Tea Party Movement with the crude sexual reference “Tea Bagging,” showing just how immature and unprofessional they really are. More > Snark II | Snark III ***** Steve Benen attempted to discredit the Washington DC/White House Tea Party protest with the “if it’s not well planned it’s not legitimate” bit. Protesters threw a box of tea into the White House lawn and got in trouble with authorities. If this were a liberal protest and Bush was in the White House, you better believe Benen wouldn’t have this snark to offer:
So, these guys didn’t think it was important to come up with a rationale for the protests or to get permits for the protests … It’s hard not to get the impression that very little thought went into these far-right festivities.
We also know that not a lot of thought went into the civil rights movement at first, it started as slowly building emotion.  ***** We hear only muffled sounds from Josh Marshall at TalkingPointsMemo as he attempts to remove his foot from his mouth for calling this picture and the 28 subsequent pics of protests “Anti-Tax Porn:”
TPM Calls This "Porn"

John Marshall Calls This "Porn"

***** Everyone’s favorite fake conservative Andrew Sullivan featured a post from hard left Pandagon blogger Jesse Taylor. From “Unicorn Nuts…On Your Face,” a shrill upchuck of liberal malevolence:
This gets to the basic issue with the whole Tea Party movement.  It’s a group of fucknuts joining other groups of marginally related fucknuts to protest something or other, in a hugely fucknutty way.  The point of the Tea Party movement, besides the largest thrusting of testicles to America’s collective face since the Soviets launched Sputnik, is to protest…well, basically the entire functioning of the government with no alternative plan or goal whatsoever.
LOL, what great prose and impeccable logic! Good to know what Sullivan considers to be “curt.” He thinks “the goal of the Tea Parties” is to “DOMINATE THE AGENDA,” whatever that means.  Stay tuned for more, folks…

Sicko Tubman: “Socialist” is Conservative Code Word For “Nig*er”

2

Filed Under (Debunking, Outrage) by Ben Grivno on 14-04-2009

omg_wtf_modWow, you gotta be freakin’ kidding me. The Tea Party Movement really has brought out the ghastly, dark creatures from deep under the left blogsphere. The Hard Left’s screaming banshee Jill Tubman takes the “all conservatives are racist” narrative to a new, disquieting level in her post The Rotting Racist Underbelly of the Tea Party Protests:
I’ve been parsing the words and the racists have been very careful to cover their tracks and fury that a black man is President. But not well enough. I’m starting to become pretty convinced at this point that “socialist” is a some kind of code word for “nigger”.
Jill “You Were Racist at Hello” Tubman has been parsing a lot too much, methinks. Looking REALLY hard for her precious racist bogeyman (she just KNOWS it’s there sOmEwheRe), she uses an example of alleged racism from Michelle Malkin’s blog:
Some [protesters] were there because they’re maddened that the same glorious policies that have made Detroit look like Bangladesh after a garbage haulers strike are being introduced on a national level
Uhhhhh. That’s racist? No. But, of course, Tubman sees it VERY CLEARLY:
Huh? What does Detroit or Bangladesh have to do with Barack Obama? Oh that’s right, Detroit has experienced white flight, urban blight and economic devastation for years now, making some areas seem almost Third World. But that wouldn’t have anything to do with the crumbling U.S. auto industry and everything to do with the black mayors the city has been electing, right? The corrupt Kwame Kilpatrick notwithstanding, this sounds like a snarky, swiping slur directed at South Indian immigrants, African-Americans and unions all combined succinctly. There’s real racist animus here: check out the video above of Tea Party nuts convinced that Barack Obama can’t be president because he faked his birth certificate and is actually Kenyan by birth. My God — do you know what that means? It means a black man is illegally president! Because it’s just not possible for a black man to be president unless something has gone horribly wrong with the system! Citizens, act now and get to your local Tea Party!!!
The above labyrinth of logic is Tubman’s way of denying that Detroit’s policies are socialist and therefore Malkin MUST ObViouslY be racist for connecting Detroit, Bangladesh and “Obama.” Incidentally, where did Malkin mention Obama in the her post? She didn’t! Such minor details don’t concern Tubman, though. But, Malkin’s got it covered; she saw the race smear tactic coming from a mile away. So, then, Tubman screams on, this time about white supremacists “loving the Tea Party Movement.” She links to a thread on a supremacist forum-only website. I skimmed through the linked thread and, interestingly, I found the racist opinion leaders encouraging forum participants to attempt manipulation of the Tea Party movement. Furthermore, I found one racist give the movement the best endorsement a racist could give:
I don’t know how white these tea parties are anyway. And if they are now, subversive Jews will find their way in just like the BNP. The biggest problem is these movements start out more pure and polarized, but as time goes on and they are exposed to criticism and expansion they move left. If they’re already starting out pedaling moderate fiscal Republican crap, I shudder to think what it will end up as.
Yeah, they’re sure “loving” the Tea Party movement. After “re-activating [her] criteria for an undercover racist attack on Obama,” Tubman’s voice finally gets hoarse:
My main concern here is that the heated rhetoric around the protests could lead to violence against African-Americans, Jews and Latinos if some Tea Party recruits go from non-violent to violent. That’s why it’s important to drag the masked racism here out into the daylight so we can deal with it and force denials from their movement leaders before certain elements become more brazen and people start getting hurt.
LOL. Yeah, the Tea Party movement is about to turn violent. And Somali pirates are just misunderstood and Paul Krugman is frugal, too. Also, Tubman does a Great Job at keeping the “heated rhetoric” down to a minimum, don’t you think? But, hey, the Department of Homeland Security agrees with Tubman; nearly all conservatives are potentially violent. Perhaps that’s a future employment opportunity for her?

Benen: Tea Party Conservatives Are “So Dumb” For Believing They Have a Real Grievance

0

Filed Under (Debunking, Uncivilized) by Ben Grivno on 14-04-2009

Political Animal’s Steve Benen bears his fangs at conservative Tea Party activist Brendan Steinhauser for having the audacity to think that the government has gone schizophrenic when it comes to expanding programs and spending money. Steinhauser:
“We’re applying Saul Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’ here,” said Steinhauser. “We’re using methods that the Left has used, and that other movements have used, all the way back to the Civil Rights movement. First of all there has to be a real grievance, and that’s what Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King had. That’s what we have.”
First, Benen gets confused because Steinhauser mentions Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Jr as an example of someone having a “real greivance:”
This is so dumb, it’s hard to know where to start. The most obvious problem, I suppose, is the idea of a Republican activist comparing his plight to those who suffered under the violence and discrimination of segregation. The comparison itself is ridiculous enough to be insulting.
What’s obvious is that Steinhauser was NOT “comparing his plight to those who suffered under the violence and discrimination of segregation.” Steinhauser was saying that people are genuinely upset, just like Blacks were upset that they were being discriminated against. But, this is what passes for political analysis in the left blogsphere. Benen really dislikes conservatives referencing the Civil Rights movement because it interferes with the lefty narrative that conservatives are the victimizer and everyone else is their victim. The Tea Party movement is about everyone being the victim of government overreach, overspending and overtaxing, regardless of race or class. The real story, though, is that Benen is upset that conservatives are daring to think that they have a “real grievance:”
What’s more, the Tea Baggers continue to think they have “a real grievance” to justify their Fox News rallies, but they haven’t quite explained what that grievance is. Indeed, no one seems capable of explaining why, exactly, tomorrow’s events are taking place.
The more I read lefty blogs, the more I wish they would start making interesting arguments instead of trotting out tiresome memes like referring to Tea Party rallies as “Fox News rallies.” Boring! The “no one seems capable of explaining why” is also a common-but-lame lefty blogger assertion. Here is why the Tea Party movement exists.  Benen continues to marginalize himself by being disrespectful, pushing lame analysis and blurting out monotonous memes.
