Unbelievable: ABC To Hand Over Primetime Health Care Special To Obama Administration

I don’t normally cover straight news on my blog, but this instance of bias is so outrageous that I am moved to say something.

Drudge is, at the time of this writing, headlining that ABCNews with Charlie Gibson will be doing a special on June 24 called “Prescription for America,” broadcasting directly from the East Room of the White House.

It’s bad enough that ABC is actually broadcasting from the White House, symbolizing a cooperative relationship with the Obama Administration, but the special also excludes those who are opposed to to Socialist/Universal Health Care.

Also, in case you had any dobuts, ABC also hired long-time Universal Health Care advocate Dr. Tim Johnson, to play a role in the special. Just astounding.

I don’t get how ABCNews can justify such blatant heavy-handed one-sidedness to themselves. They can no longer honestly consider themselves professional journalists. Just sick.

ABC is undermining democracy with their idiotic antics. It’s just stupid and outrageous that American journalists would engage is such an act. I guess Obama really is their Dear Leader. Just damn.

Senate Protects Private Charitable Contributions

Bloomberg reports the news that the Obama Administration’s attempt to limit the size of itemized deductions that can be taken by those earning more than $250,000 has been rejected by the Senate. The fact that Obama’s budget contained this provision in the first place is a good indicator of Obama’s attitude toward private charity. Even though he may not realize it, being a socialist means Obama is ideologically opposed to private charity. In socialism, the government is charity. Carry the scenario a little farther – if the provision had passed, private charity would be reduced. A reduction would mean that the many needs that private charity fills would go unfilled. Since private charity isn’t helping, <trumpet sounds> Ta da! The government steps in to save the day!  This was a power play, an attempt to kill off private charity. The fact that the Senate killed it off is VERY important indicator of it’s true ideological state, leaning too far to the left but anchored at the center. Republicans and conservatives don’t realize that charity is their power. It is the antithesis to government welfare and control and Obama and the Democrats inherently sense that. Why more conservatives don’t tout charity is beyond me. I have a idea about this subject that will I be publishing in due course.

What Will the Next Terrorist Attack Be Called: 12/12, Bombing of Boston, What?

Splendid post by Neo-neocon. The Obama administration’s changing of the term “Global War on Terror” to “Man-Caused Disasters” and “Overseas Contingency Operations” indicates their deep desire to ignore the problem and pretend it’s no so bad. In their minds, they have already put terrorists in therapy, which is really just another form of condescension. They can’t bring themselves to respect the terrorist’s claim that they want to kill all us infidels (everyone but them). They tell themselves, “Oh, you poor, silly terrorist, you don’t really mean THAT! Ha ha ha! Now, let’s talk about your anti-anxiety breathing exercises…” They are so profoundly foolish. More innocent Americans will die as a result of their reluctance to see terrorists as what they really are. I wonder what the next terrorist attack will be called? 12/12?  6/30? The Bombing of Boston? The Destruction of the Target Center? The Toppling of the Space Needle? Ugh, it sickens me to consider such things. For the Record: I think that “Global War on Terror” is ridiculously lame because you are declaring global war on an emotion. The postmodernists in the Bush Administration are to blame for that. It should have been “Global War on Terrorists.” If you don’t see my point, consider this: how does the “Global War on Joy” sound to you???
