Brain-dead deficit spending has damaged the US economy so severely that we are now, according to the latest survey, the world’s second most competitive economy. Keynesians everywhere are suprised and saddened; suprised because they expected no immediate consequences to their short-sightedness and saddened because the current generation will pay for their own mistakes instead delaying the penalties for future generations.
